A month ago I started in one of most exciting theatres in Stockholm. An opera theatre, where they convert the most classical opera in the most creative one. With creative costumes, sceneography and of course make-up! I can consider me very lucky because I started there to teach me how to do wigs, prosthetic make-up and so on in a properly way. This is how I started.
That's it! They ask you to fix their make-ups when they need it, so who are you gonna ask when you need a favour? Of course, here they are! cousins.... parents....friends... Many friends of course! But I am specially grateful to Marta, not only because she helped me the night before with the hat and she calmed me down in the most stressful moments but because she was standing for five hours while I was doing her make-up and after that she was brave enough to dance in a cat-walk in front of the jury. Bravo Marta!
Two of my favorites photographers in Stockholm are Frida and Alexandra . Because of their creativity, wich they express in opposite directions and the freedom I get from them to leave my imagination to fly. One of them, sweet, colorful, joyful.... The other, dark, sinister, mystical... You can see many of their works on my website and I will post here the processes, the different steps we used to make under our photo shootings.
I found some pictures from my begging as a make-up artist in Spain. They bring me up many memories, so I think I will post some of them from time to time. This is from my second bodypainting. I made it with two colleagues more, Noelia and Taida.
Last summer in Teater Tribunalen "Slaktscenarier". Text by Kerstin Car, directed by Maja Björkquist, scenography by SaraLo Serra, costume by Caroline Bonaldi and make-up by me.
